Assalaamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
This is concerning issues pertaining to taking from scholars from the likes of Shaykh Rabee al Madkhali. I’m standing between 2 feuds who claim to ascribe themselves to the first three generation of muslims. One who are with Shaykh Rabee, and the other who tells me to avoid myself from reading Shaykh Rabee’s materials. Both sides tell me to avoid each other, so now I’m in confusion. Any advice is appreciated.

Assalamualaikum akhi..May Allaah bless…akhi me myself was in the same dilemma until a few months ago but akhi the truth is clear… The people used to spek against Shaykh Albani when he was alive and the same people would speak against Shaykh Muqbil and now the same people are targeting Shakaykh Rabee..All the scholars had good words for the noble Shakykh and all the scholars of this era have good to speak of him.

It’s a tough situation, I’m also “in the middle right now” (but not in a pandering sort of way), the way things are now I’ve decided to just avoid the political issues that divide these people and stick to the basics that nobody calling himself a Salafi would deny – the core concepts of Aqeedah and Tawheed. That’s the reason the old Takfeeri me began to take from the “madkhali” scholars.
